Music video - Dvx 100b stock

Footage looks very nice, are you sure this is dvx100? It looks HD to me and A LOT better than the other stuff I have seen shot with dvx.
 
You never replied and now looking at your post history on you using a dslr it looks like you tried to pull a fast one here. This looks like DSLR footage to me and not a dvx100

You know, there have been some amazing things done with the DVX... and a lot of it has been "uprezzed" to HD frame size with stellar results. If you watch again, you'll notice that there are some pretty rapid camera movements that are jell-o-free. Can't do that with a DSLR, and just because one may have a DSLR does not mean it is the right tool for every job. How about we not try to troll on these forums?

Personally I think you are the one trolling. I simply said I have never seen footage like this shot with a Dvx, then noticed he never replied and found later posts that he uses a 60d. Yes I could be wrong and this is a Dvx, but you come in here saying how this camera can do this and that and then tell me IM trolling. Come on man, you cant throw a stone at someone and not expect to get it thrown back
 
i've been shooting on dvx since 2003 and the color range of the video in this post does point to a DVX - i did a freeze frame and it was exactly like the stuff i shoot edit...

also the reds point to a DVX as well. There is not realy any shallow depth of field, if it was shot on a HDSLR it would be i imagine shallower... thats the only reason to really shoot HDSLRS, to get the depth of field that 2 d video doesnt provide..

anyway... looks good.. lots of effects and cc.... wasnt amazing... he prolly uprezed it to HD and its fine
 
It can be a DVX, with the right settings, right conditions, a nice capture codec and the right output codec. It's nicely done. I tried to make some fake HD myself, and it works fine by me. By the way, don't you think that the frames are stretchy by the sides? The clip could been shot with 4:3 settings (since it's full frame instead of squeeze) then strech it in post.
 
I think the girl at the beginning of the video could have been shot with anything and it would have looked good.
