I recently Directed and Edited a music video Sponsored by Kodak.

They provided cameras and will be giving us marketing support for the video shortly and posting it on their websites.

I only mention the type of camera we used briefly, to show that at this point the camera doesn't really matter to a certain extent and you can extract a really good looking image from anything, it's just a matter of how you manipulate it.

Feel free to hammer me with critique or questions. I'll be updating this first post shortly when I have some more info and additional reaction from Kodak.

I think the best shots are the backlit ones, very nice. Use as many of those as you can!

Haha yeah I tried to implement as many of those as I could.

This first video was definitely a learning experience as we went along, since we had a pretty tight timeline and we learned on the fly what the camera was good and bad at.

We'll be doing a 2nd video in the near future and have a far better understanding of what does and doesn't work now.

Wow that's incredible. You really film that with a Zx3?

I thought that this camera had a lot of problem with low light setting?

Nice job man!

I got a kodak playsport and I have used it a few times, I noticed the image was very noisy. You may notice that he added a lot of effects here to cover it up. It works if you want to do something like this but it does not hold up if you want a nice clean image.
