Hey all,

Check out this music video I just finished. All shot on 7D, available light only. No crew, just me and the actors. Nikon lenses: 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.8, 80-200/4, 17-35/2.8. One of the night shots was actually shot at ISO 3200 because I was on the long lens and its only an f4. Handled it very well. Most of the stuff was at ISO 640 or 1250. Both were smooth like butter.

2 of the 6 finalists in the competition will be chosen by internet voting and the winner becomes the official music video for the Moby track. So if you enjoy it please pass on the word, tell your friends, spread the love, and be sure to vote by April 12th.

Nice….very nice cinematography. I loved the story and how you left it (up in the air) up to us to decide how it should go. To me if she smiled (or even slammed the door in his face) it would have been the same old cheesy ending…but good job.

nice work, looks great especially for all natural/practical light.

Love the 35/1.4 i'd love to grab one of those.

Really beautifully done. May I ask, it looks like you managed a lot of that handheld, is that the case? If so, how did you keep it so nicely steady?

With all the blather aside, when you see a project like this done so beautifully with no lights or crew, that is the inspiration and excitement of this technology.

cool video! I'm not sure I would classify that as "low light" though, maybe medium light?
