Music Video: 7D and Zeiss primes ....yeah, yeah. Another music vid shot on the 7D

nice job.. i like the editing... looking forward to shooting/editing my first mv in the near future. can you tell me your approach to cutting this and other mv's. were you involved in the storyboarding and preproduction?

right on, thanks! i actually wasn't involved in any pre-production, storyboarding, etc... I worked with the director off and on. I basically was given all the footage...tons of it! And cut the performance part first. This is where I had full freedom to cut away. We then pieced the story together and laid those sections in. It was fun, but def a lot of work to edit this video -- I also did all the prorezzing to make the footage FCP ready. My little MBP was huffing and puffing for sure!!

BTW, the band is Black Heart Vacancy, and they just released a 3 song EP.
