Multi-camera shooting with A1

Hey hey, So I've decided to get a Canon XH A1, but I know eventually that i will want to start using 2 and 3 additional HD camera's when shooting. When cutting footage together I, obviously, don't want a difference in quality/look from camera to camera. MUST I use additional A1's to get the same look from the 3 different angles? And if not, what are some cheaper alternatives I can use to shoot along side the A1? I really don't want to lessen the quality of the A1. or can this be done in post (have all 3 camera's footage look the same)?
thanks!

It will definitely be easier with 3 A1's, especially given that you can dial in the white balance on them.
If you get different cameras, you'll definitely have to do some post work to get them to be exactly the same. What I would probably do is get a quick take of something from the exact same camera position on all of the cameras you're using, that way you have an easy reference point when you go to color correct in post.

I use two A1's all the time now. Set them up with the same settings, and it's flawlwss cutting. You can also get an hv30, which is super close, and cut well together. Plus you may want to grab an hv30 just for using it as a deck, to save the heads on your A1.

Sweet, I can get a cheap hv30. It's bitter sweet to know a $400 camera is going to look close, if not the same as a $4000 one ... I'll definitely check out the vixia though. Thanks for that.
