GH4 multi camera: GH4 or GH5 ?

GH4 is also smaller, lighter and has longer battery life. Plus for me the big reason I still love the GH4 is the built in flash for stills. I know a dedicated flash would deliver better results but much like how people don’t want to add on an external recorder or gimbal to replace internal 10bit or IBIS I don’t want to always have to add on a big flash. Even with the 16mp I feel the GH4 is more versatile for everyday stills because of the included flash.

It falls in line with the concept of hybrid camera a lot more when one is perfectly fine with 8bit rec709 profiles.

My wife already hates that I use the GH4 for vacations and photos of our daughter vs my phone. She would probably leave me if I added a flash to the mix.
 
GH4 does have crazy good battery life, I definitely miss that part. Wish more companies would take battery life more seriously ahem black magic.

If you are happy with the GH4 though I see no reason to get a 5. Used GH4's are going for so cheap these days.

That said I've never had an issue with moire on the GH5, its probably one of the best cameras even against some higher end ones in terms of having a moire free image.
