mpeg4 footage into final cut pro...

i have a client who just gave me a pile of mpeg4 video. anybody know the least painful format to transcode to? prores, aic, or should i just turn it into dvcprohd?
 
I can't speak to the process of converting, or which would be the easiest to transcode....But I will say that I love ProRes...I've been working on a project thats mixing a large amount of the client's HDV video with some stuff I shot on my HVX. We captured the HDV stuff using ProRes, and its been working out great. I'm having no issues whatsoever combining the two types of video in FCP.
