MOVIE TRAILER - BROKEN ($8000 Action Short - 100 Vfx Shots) DVX100a

It's rediculous... customs classifies it as one thing, and the federal goverment classifies it as another. It's fricken rediculous.
 
I'm from Canada and I didn't realize there were restrictions on airsoft guns. Actually can you clarify what an airsoft gun is? Are you talking about air pellet guns?

Also, what is this replica permit? I own 4 Berretta style handguns that fire starter blanks. They are essentially starter pistols shaped like Berretta hand guns. They have muzzle flash and the action works with the kick-back chamber.

Are these now regulated?

BTW, I have a firearms permit. It's called a PAL Possession Aqisition Licence, mine includes restricted weapons, but that includes normal handguns, and they need to be registered and I need to belong to a shooting range club and get a special permit to transport my gun to the range.

I had hoped that my starter replicas wouldn't fall under all that.

Any insight?

Where do you even buy replica or airsoft guns in canada? All the store I know of have now shut down.

AMAZING, simply amazing, i bought the dvd immediately as i saw this post, then i realized about all the extra features and i was so overjoyed i ordered a second for my right hand man as a christmas present. VERY impressive. Obviously I haven't seen the feature yet, but it shows that you don't need to spend big bucks to make a good piece of work.

Hey, i bought the DVD of Broken and when watching your Guns Guns Guns extra i noticed you said you bought your guns at the airsoft depot in south florida, i live in Tampa, Florida. Where is it you reside in south florida and where is this airsoft depot?

We are in Hollywood and Airsoft is in Fort Lauderdale. Hope you liked the DVD:thumbsup:

Just wondering what the $8,000 went towards..since you guys edited yourselves, and i'm assuming the dvx's were yours as well....mainly light rental and actors? crew?

Looks like the mini35 wasn't included in the $8,000.00 price, As far as I watched wasn't mentioned as equipment. Of course the track and Dolly must have been free as well... HHHMMM

Anyway nice video, Great tips... to bad I bought it 1 week before it went on sale...

Glad you liked it. We never used the Mini35mm, hence we didn't mention it. Also the dolly and tracks were included in the grip package we rented for the week. And no it wasn't free. :laugh:

Mostly paying people, food, rental gear, props, waredrobe and insurance.
