Hello

i need some help, i got that Movcam V-Lock Battery : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...MOV_306_0209_BATTERY_BRACKET_FOR_V_MOUNT.html

but i need cords for it.... its seems like something very complicated, i need a cord for 5V (4pin hole ), and for 12v (3pin hole)..... i already have a 7.2V one to power c300, i got it together with the unit, but seems like these lemo cords are very expansive

if anyone has any suggestions plz let me know! i have there a d-tap out , but i am not sure if i can use it to power something that for example needs only 5V,-

Regards

I have ten same Movcam accessory except for AB batteries. I went with a D-Tap cable to power the C300. For other accessories I would try and find DTap cables that step down the voltage.

i have a special cord to power my c300, i got it together with the unit. i would like to be able to power the small hd monitor, tv logic monitor, teradek transmitter...... maybe something else... but how do i know if its steped down?

Anatusa,

The easiest way is to get two flying leads for each product, one to go from the Movcam plate, and another to go from your accessory, as wiring directly into a Lemo head can take some special skill.

However, it's extremely important to know the size of the connectors and the pin configuration of your Movcam plate. From the photos, they look to be size 0B and are presumably Arri standard pinouts, but I would definitely confirm that with Movcam themselves.

But for example:
SmallHD Monitor Flying Lead attached to a 3-Pin "Lemo-Style" Size 0B Flying Lead
Teradek Flying Lead attached to a 3-Pin "Lemo-Style" Size 0B Flying Lead

It'll be pretty simple to do, you'll just need a trusty voltage meter, some solder and gun, heat shrink and heat gun.
