AC160 Mounting Wireless Receiver onto AC-160

Dear collegues

On the build-in cold shoe adapter of the AC-160 I put my LED headlight. For my Sennheiser wireless receiver, that also comes with a cold hoe, I would need a second cold shoe adapter to put onto the camera. There are three holes inside the handle grip of the cam but I have no idea how to add another shoe on it. Does anybody have found a solution yet?

You can buy a shoe that will screw into holes on the handle.

This is the one I bought.

You can also buy a mount that you can place in the shoe that will give you additional shoes. Like this:

Super. Thanks a lot. Now I have to find a way to buy a small piece like this in Germany as it doesnt make sense ordering it in the States

The holes are compatible with 1/4-20UNC and 3/8-16UNC screws

For years I have mounted my wireless with velcro. Get the wide industrial roll or strips and cut it to size for receiver and then put the a strip of the fuzzy side on the top of your lens hood and mount the receiver there. I have done this for years and it makes for a quick setup and I personally like the look of it more than the shoe mount.
