Mounting Hardware on a Kessler Pocket Dolly

I was shooting a musical performance recently, and some other shooters mentioned they'd never seen a Pocket Dolly used in this way. I know the Kessler products are expensive (comparatively), but to me turning the dolly into a more complete shooting platform helps leverage the expense.

Do the other sliders have this assortment of threaded holes?

Maybe this hack will help some people here who shoot "one man band"-style, like I do.

Wonderful job! I've got a PD, but haven't thought to use it in this way. Nice job on soundtrack, and scripting!

I have the igus slider - I've drilled & tapped the hell out of it; I think of it as a movable mounting platform.

What's really fun is screwing a couple scraps of 2x4 to the ceiling and mounting the slider upside-down for straight-down spinning shots:

It was great to see that strategy used in your video, Michael Carter!

I haven't yet mounted my slider to the ceiling, but I'll definitely keep that idea in my back pocket.
