Mounting 7d with mattebox to glidecam?

Is this possible?

We are buying a Glidecam HD4000 with arm/vest X-10.


The director also wants to buy somthing similiar to:

But i feel the cost of ^ is a bit pricey, however at least it has the follow focus, (i cant tell if it cant quickly mount to a tripod though... anyone know?)


Anyways im tryng to find out of theres any quick mounting solutions to go from the glidecam ---> triod ---> glidecam ect.. Without having to disasemble the 7d from the mattebox and that whole setup, not to mention we will have a external monitor attached.


Any hints or suggestions?
 
The biggest problem with th glidecam will be focus. You will need a wireless FF and wireless video for your A/C.

Also Zeiss is making a set of primes with EF mounts that should be hitting rentl houses soon. They will all be the same size, so if you rent the set, you can swap them out and not have to change the distance between the camera and matte box, and not have to rebalance your Glidecam.

You might want to check with your local rental house and see what you can rent as opposed to buy for support equipment.
