Had a family party at my house and went to a mountain I like to shoot at. Screwed around and shot into the sun for the first time with my SGpro. I think it looks pretty cool.

Ha, thanks Luis. I actually used to shoot squeeze with my DVX before I got my SGpro, but I never had access to a 16x9 TV or monitor to view my stuff on so I always edited it in a 4x3 time line with the black bars on the top and bottom.

When I got my SGpro I started shooting 4x3 and since I was so used to the black bars from the 16x9 footage, I made some in Photoshop and put them on top of my 4x3 footage. The only problem is is that I guessed how big the bars were.

I think when you edit 16x9 footage in a 4x3 time line the video comes out to be 720x360. I made my fake letter box bars 20 pixels too big so when I add them on top of my 4x3 video I am left with 720x340.

Then I just crop off the black so my actual master Quicktime is 720x340. Cuts down on some space and still makes me believe I am shooting 16x9 when I am actually not...
