C200: Mount Wireless unit

Hey guys, I want to keep my C200 pretty vanilla since I really like the top handle. I need to attach a Nyrius Pro wireless system somewhere though. I would love to find a rod for the Top Handle's Through holes.
Does anyone know what they are for? I found out that the top handle's holes are 8.8mm (0.35in) https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1280924/Canon-Eos-C200.html?page=19
Has anyone used these through holes for mounting things?

They are all the standard 1/4-20 threads found on all cameras (some cams also have 3/8 threads).

Depending on how compact you'd like to keep your setup, you may just be able to work with something like this:

Oh sorry, I should have expressed myself clearer. I’m talking about the two holes on the side which have 8.8mm diameter. Standard 15mm rods won’t fit here. I wonder what Canon was thinking when they designed that? I’d love to use it for something but looks like I need to come up with something diy.

I’m pretty sure these are threaded 3/8” holes. Way to small for 15mm rods but there’s a solution out there I’m sure.

There all of those cool Small Rig cheap handles that have 1/4" 20 and 3/8'' all over the place for $20.00 on Amazon. Why worry about the stock handle?

I own two of the Zacuto ones as well, but prefer the Smallrig as it's smaller, lighter, and has more mounting holes and points.

I like the closed handle design I guess. Happened to me with an fs7 with a custom handle. the camera slid out of my hands while carrying. I was considering the top plate but don't like to add weight if I don't need to. I'm really confused why canon put these holes there? They don't seem to be threaded...

I agree, I like the stock handle and I too wondered about why those holes are there. Could possibly be just a randon design element or to save a half an ounce in overall weight? They don't seem to have any function.
