cc and exposure was fantastic - what time of day did you shoot this during? the skys all are nicely exposed

props for the amazing effort

I really liked the beginning, but then the overall energy of the chase fell out somehow. Suddenly the shots seemed to be of very slow moving vehicles. I just didn't get a sense of speed, energy, and excitement from the clip. Who would race in a Toyota 4x4 anyway? I used to own a similar ride, and it was certainly not known for speed. The Celica and bike were cool though.

We hardly did any color correcting and we shot from 8am to about 3 in the afternoon. We shot a fight scene afterwards (this was in November -FREEZING) and didn't get home till about 8. Long day.

when you said you had the DVX up to 120mph, I was expecting to see really quick looking shots. To me they all looked like the bike was going normal speed normal being the speed limit or a little over it. The shot between the cars looked to be the fastest. I would have liked to see tight shots of hands on the grips, foot on the clutch changing gears, tight shot of the bikers eyes through the helmet, for that last comment you would have had to be going the same speed as the bike which might be difficult. All in all it looked good, I think the edits could have been tighter though to add to the suspense. How high did you have that jib in the air? That one shot where the camera is towering over the biker looked pretty hot! I forget what movie it is but I have the DVD here that a company built something like that where they had a jib arm mounted to the top of their Mercedes Benz SUV and was about to get some amazing shots of a car chase scene.

We had that jib in the back of an old Ford F250 - So, I'd say about 16-17 feet? Yeah, it was the sweetest thing when we watched the 'dailies' that night.
