Here's the scenerio:
Shooting HVX200 1080 60i with a century wide angle converter on the front end. Shooting indoors and out. Lighting with HMI's inside and out. Using Firestore with firmware update 4. The camera is set to video and not film cam under scene file settings.
Mac OSX 10.4.11, FCP 6.0.2 on a MacPro with 2 x 3.0 dual core, 8gb of ram, 7.75 terabytes of CalDigit S2VR HD
Sequence is set to DVCPROHD 29.97
The problem: When the camera is stationary and I have someone walking through the frame (not at the camera) I seem to be picking up motion blur. The sharpness of the person's face is going soft as they pass by.
Any guesses as to what the problem is? I've shot with this setup many times before without issues. My static shots with no motion are beautiful. But once motion is introduced to the shot as described before the image just goes down hill.
Shooting interlaced should have alleviated all motion blur. But, it's just not working.
Your help is appreciated.
