Hi gang,
I hung around DVXuser land between 2006 & 2009, helping folks like Jack Daniel Stanley, Macgregor & DAHOPA films with audio, occasionally contributing music or other help. Those guys eventually inspired me to jump back behind the camera, having not done so since college days in the late 80s.
Just around the time I started shooting more seriously, I was lucky enough to make friends with an incredibly talented improvisational actor, Drue Pennella, who lives in my neighborhood. We've done a few projects together starting with a 48 HR Horror Film Fest, 1st place award winning 6 minute short, "The Job" which you can find on my "govtyule" YT channel. What I really wanted to share is our latest effort below. We're pretty happy with how this came out, shot over two weekends in the Catskill Mountains at The Red Ranch Motel, in Saugerties, NY. My partner Drue directed and edited. I was director of photography, lighting and co-editor with occasional role reversals throughout the production.
