This is just a little 10 second clip I made for Ryan Connolly of Film State. I wanted something clever and the last time he did this he had no girls in them. Well this time he will if he uses this :)

If you don't know what "Act of Valor" is then you Must check the trailer out and look into it! It was shot with mostly DSLR's and they used LIVE ammo and Real Navy Seals as actors! Plus this skit refers to a moment in the trailer. ;)

My skit got used! W00T! Its at the 12:30 mark. :D It would be awesome if any of you found my krotoflik comment in the video comments and gave it a Thumbs up :D Thanks!

"Act of Valor" was shot in So. Cal and San Diego, as well as some in more eastern locations. The original 'intent' was sort of a recruiting film for SEALS, and expended. A couple of years ago the Navy laiason was at a local Final Cut user's group, with some of the early footage. I think they used Canon 7D's and 5D's. Some of his footage was of a 7D mounted on the helmet of the guys going out of the helicopter and sliding down lines, as well as some boat to boat sniper shots.

One of the 'concepts' the Navy man said he wanted in the movie was to show the men as 'ordinary' guys, and not fast living, social misfits, as often is the case in such depictions... Hence the scene with the families of the guys at a beach party before they go out on an operation.

As for women in the SEALS I don't think that's happened yet...

Thanks for the info J1clark! Haha, but the girl idea is more for Film State than being a navy seal. The first Film State they made with video responses to a question didn't have a single video with a girl in it. So now they could if they used this :)
