more word on Canon 5D MK3 Raw Video

It wont change since its a dslr, it will still shoot stills and market towards still photographers. Focusing too much on video would be a stupid move for them
if it shoots high megapixel stills, it wont shoot proper video.

Shane Hurlbut talked about being interviewed along with a bunch of other professionals by Canon. They are under an NDA of course so we won't know what was discussed, but he did say they are very interested in advancing these cameras for cdigital cinema. The interview with Shane where he talks about this is on planet5d.

If one should speculate about the next 5d, I would rather do so with the desired camera an ASC would want, not what Canon Rumors says. Would an ASC want in an hdslr? If you read Shane's blog you would know. That is what most likely will be developed by Canon...in my humble opinion.

I spoke to a canon representative last week in a Jessops and she said that they're currently in beta testing trialling three models of the 5d MkIII.

I asked a few things about the MkIII (size and speed of sensor, highest fps etc.) but she was very hesitant and couldn't give me confirmation of much... so I asked if there's anything that she could confirm that the upgrade will have and she said RAW is almost certain!

In my opinion this is a highly trusted source...
