More upconverted DVX100b at 720p

Considering how much light you had to work with, the image is pretty clean for uprezzed DVX. I reckon that you did a sweet job here Adam!

Well,

I edited in cs3 24p timeline, did some colour correction, even boosted the exposure a little for a few clips. Then I exported mpeg2, hd 720p. Quality level was at 5, checked off the noise reduction as opposed to sensitivity, increased target bitrate a tad.

I am sure I forgetting something, but ultimately, I just exported as 720p after I edited in the 24p SD ntsc timeline. I have tried editing in the 720p timeline, scaling up and exporting and its never as clean not sure why.

I also found that this video retained some of its sharpness, where as most of my up conversions end up super soft.
