More T1i shots from a music video

These are some rough cut narrative scenes from a music video I shot this week.
For those of you that checked out the performance clip I put up (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=184376), this part of the video has a totaly different aesthetic. It's shot hand held (there's always room jello) and has a much rougher feel to contrast the performance parts of the video.

Shot with the T1i and 50mm f1.8. Aperture locked by twist trick and Exposure locked on most shots expect for the last one that I messed up. If you wait too long to press record after you lock exposure it goes back to automatic. I had another shot that was correctly done but I didn't like the shot itself. Once again 30p slowed to 24p.
The story arc is pretty basic and self explanitory and, I'll admit it, generic, but it fits the tone and message of the song. The actor, who is another rapper from Houston, did a really good job and it was his first time acting. His name is J-Dawg, he's from Slim Thug's crew, completely meaningless if you're not into that, I know :)

Sorry for putting this in the 7D forum, but the T1i is an APS-C Canon camera and should be a good indicator of where the 7D is heading.

Nice work.
Glad to see you're not waiting around for the next big thing and are out there shooting -

Looking forward to seeing what you churn out with the 7D, and how it compares.
I have to say, I'm pretty amazed with the images you're getting with that little camera.
Keep it up.

Amazing. Your going to start a run on the T1i, Johnny. If it weren't for the wierd 20p frame rate, this camera would have a much stronger following. IQ wise, it seems like it's there.

I agree with Luis. Keep shooting and stop dwelling on the next camera specs. Remember we got into this business to tell stories and the cameras are simply tools. Good Work! Johnny!
