GH2 More M4/3 Lenses on the Horizon

Yes, the oly 45mm 1.8 is a great lens BUT there's a few things that kill it for me. For more professional stuff it looks really "Cheap" when i'm doing corporate stuff for example. Silver, plasticy, and super small. I absolutely hate the handling of it. The focus ring is super finnacky imo, even worse than the panasonic wire focus rings. And it is just a Totally different asthetic than my voigtlander 25mm for example. Just doesn't match well with any voigtlander/contax zeiss lenses I use when i'm doing 2 camera shoots.

Have you ever considered the Nikon 50mm f1.8D? I have been trying to figure out how it would compare visually to the Oly 45mm since it is also a newer generation lens. The D lenses have aperture rings and seems like it would work very well with a Nikon adapter. At like $100.00 it seems like the best bang for buck modern 50mm f1.8 out there to use with m4/3.

Personally I'm holding out for the pancake 12-120 f0.95 that weighs 5 ounces and has servo zoom.
Hehe, that would be cool, except that you would be looking at an Angenieux, which means it would weigh 3 pounds, be 2 feet long, and it would cost a tad over $20,000. :)

The Angenieux 19.5mm - 94mm f/2.4 lens has a 5x zoom range, is 13 inches long, weighs 12 lbs, and can be rented for about $500 per day.

There you go. I didn't have my figures straight. Still, Angenieux is the cinema zoom king (queen?). :)

Absolutely, but thankfully (for some) they've been making great zoom lenses for decades so you can get some deals on 16mm lenses, like these 12-120mm f/2.2 in a variety of mounts: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=angenieux+12-120&_sacat=0
I would err on the side of caution and assume that it would not cover a m4/3 sensor, but maybe there's a small chance it would work on the BMCC. Anyway, all esoteric stuff. They're just cool, and historically significant lenses. :)
