MONKEY! (D5300 short)

[StMad]

Shot this on my recent visit to Hong Kong (not a neon light in sight!)

Love the camera, but the lack of exposure and focus tools make it tough on a run 'n gun shoot like this...

What a lovely cinematic image! The colours truly sing

I'm not suggesting anybody watch movies while stoned, but if they do, this one is a powerful choice.

I went to Vimeo because I just had to find out where I had heard the tune before ("Swedish Rhapsody") ... well, for oldies like me, it was on Deep Purple's "Made in Japan" (1972) album where Richie Blackmore is fooling around on "Lazy". For those slightly older, it was made famous by Percy Faith in 1953. And, for those a lot older, it was originally written by Hugo Alfven way back in 1903.
