C200: Monitor Recommendations for use with C200

Hello,

I am looking for monitor recommendations to use with my C200

I have been using an AC-7 OLED with my C200 that has just started to fail. (No image will display for 60-90 seconds after the monitor is turned on, and sometimes the image just stops displaying. I disassembled the monitor and snugged up the cable harness connection, which fixed the on/off problem, but now the image displays with a deep red cast.)

My primary use is for judging lighting on interior, interview lighting set ups.

Will most monitors display dynamic range and highlights and shadows with equal quality these days?

If my budget is sub $800-$1000, is SmallHD still my best choice? I’ve seen several negative reviews for the 702 Bright and 702 Lite indicating they have reliability issues.

Has anyone compared the image quality of the Focus 7 and 702 lite monitors?

Will the display quality of an Atomos or Blackmagic Design monitor/recorders be of equal quality to similarly priced SmallHD monitors?

My FAVORITE monitors are still my smallHD DP7Pro OLED's(7.7" or so), which have been out of production for years, now(they're still my 'A' on-cam monitors)... But I added a smallHD Focus SDI OLED several months ago and while it's smaller(5.5"?), it's a really damn good monitor and I've been very pleased with it.

Seconding the SmallHD Focus line. I have a 5 and a 7 (non-OLED) and they are great.
