Monitor or HDTV?

Looking for a 19inch monitor or TV to hook up to my A1 to aid in focusing and to let the director judge the scene as we shoot it, on a larger monitor. I am assuming I can do this. At first I was looking at a $220 Samsung monitor but it only had analog and DVI connections. I think what I want is a HDTV. Samsung makes a 19 incher for $350 and it has HDMI and Component IN. The A1 has a Component OUT so I think this is the ticket. Am I right on this? Thanks.
 
Yeah anythign with a component in is good, just remember power source. Also, wait for next week black friday and maybe it'll be on sale for 50 bucks;)
