C300: Monitor for C300

I had a Marshall V-LCD70MD Monitor but during filming a scene in a creek it came loose and fell into the water. Not sure if it worth getting it fix or try to find another one. I would like one that gives me the same visual that the LCD on the camera does - any feedbacks?

They're down to $299 freaking dollars.

I'm about to buy a second one. I paid like $850 for my kit like seven months ago.
