I have a old TV logic monitor that was never very accurate with skin tones. Could anyone recommend a favorite monitor of theirs for this purpose? Thanks.
Most of my monitors are OLED, now. I have a 17" calibrated Sony OLED, a smallHD DP7Pro OLED that I had calibrated, another DP7Pro OLED and two smallHD Focus OLED SDI's(just bought a second). I trust all of them to give me an accurate representation of the recorded image. Depending on what size you want/need, smallHD Focus OLED(5.5") and LCD(5") monitors are only $299, right now. That's why I just added a second one.
I just pulled the trigger on the 5.5” SmallHD Focus OLED sale on B&H and am really looking forward to it. I own the 702 Bright and the original LCD Focus which are great for viewing outdoors but not accurate for judging exposure or colors.
