As a long-time lurker, me thought this would be the right time to reach for a slice of all that fest fun :)

Shooting already wrapped three weeks ago. Since then I didn't have that much time for post, so I wanted to wait and make sure we would be able to deliver something.
And as this is our first try in narrative shorts, please read "something" as in "SOMEthing" :)

As of now, editing is almost done - and then off to dialogue editing, sound fx, foley, vfx, colour correction, writing & recording "soundtrack"...
You know: stuff ... oh my...

I really, really hope we don't put the continental European faction to shame!

Cheers!

Your poster looks very cool! Title has me intrigued...how did you manage to shoot on the moon?! (just kidding!)

Good luck to you.

We just paid the (small) location fee. But our sound recordist nearly went nuts up there. :)

Thanks a lot & good luck to all of you!
And many thanks to DVXuser for providing the platform for such a great experience. I already learned tons in the process.

Okay, that's it. Didn't make it in time by probably a couple of minutes.
Upload was on its way for about 40 minutes, when line was cut due to timeout (I guess).
Aargh. :)
So much for my first DVXFest...
Good luck to all participants!

Thanks a lot for the support, guys. Much appreciated!
Didn't read your posts until now, as it was about 1 am when disaster struck :)

I understand that this is completely my own fault. I started to upload with about 45min to go - invitation for failure :)

Just for the sake of it, I still intend to at least round off the thread. I owe it to the people involved.
So I added some grabs...

Followed your advice and contacted the mods. Now biting my nails and waiting for a decision.
Whatever the outcome, I will post a link to the film...

I hope you get in. Your Avatar is dope.
Thanks! I love Caligari. Although it's more than 90 years old (!) it never fails to amaze me.
Propably one of my main reminders that it's not about technology, but technique. Amd skills. And inspiration. And.... :Drogar-Smoke(DBG):

Yeah i mean if its a silly upload issue, i know as a participant that id rather see this entry get included. I mean jeez the more films the better - the rules are there, but i dont think they should be so precise as to reject an entry for something like this. Hope you get in :)

Thanks, me too.
Heck, I'd even be pretty happy with an exhibition only-slot.
That is, if this audience could handle another slice of Old World Madness
(kidding)
