I shot an interview with a gentleman wearing a pin stripped shirt. Using the AF 100 set at 1080/24P in the Cine-Like D mode. The ISO was 400 and I had shutter at 1/60. For some reason the syncro scan was at 180.0d (i didn't check it). Using the Ziess Planar 1.4/50 ZF.2 lens. The eyepiece viewerfinder was in focal assist and looked fine. I had a Zacuto EVF and it looked great...not even a hint of something going dreadfully wrong. It was shot under a lake side dock on a sunny day with Lowell Omni lighting . I don't have the luxury of lugging a 46 inch HD monitor to location shoots. Once it was loaded into PP the shirt went nuclear and the subject didn't move...just a head and shoulders shot. The shirt looks fine until I push play then it's squigglyville.
So where did I go wrong? What should the camera be set to so this will NOT happen again? Please don't tell me I can't shoot fine line fabric with my new fancy cam.
Second question is what can I use with Premiere Pro CS5.5 to eliminate the moire? Is there a plug in? Do I have to send to after effects and do 20 steps to correct? I am lost. Any and all help would be most appreciated.
Thanks
