Moire is commonplace now

[Al MacLeod]

I guess moire is here to stay!

[John M]

That's pretty funny. I guess they just didn't care enough to put a better photo.

I see aliasing in every NBA game mostly with the suits and ties. The news here is HD now and I see it there almost every night depending on what kind of suit and tie Vic Carter has on. I'm just used to it now and my wife never notices until I say something.

I've noticed that I see it way more now that I know what it is. Before the DSLR craze, I never even knew to look for it, and now I see it wherever I go.

Doubtful it was that bad in print. That was probably scanned. Poorly...

[rhervag]

that commonly happens with bad CMYK processing for newspaper printing

Have any of you been to that building? I haven't. It might really look that way.

There's a sale at Penny's!!!!!!

[Ben_B]

Most of the time it's not there until it gets broadcast....the camera operator probably didn't see it, and you only are because of all the crap the signal has been through by the time it gets you.

Theres moire in the dark knight. A year ago before I registered for this site it would have went right passed me. Man i miss the good ole days when i could just watch a movie with looking at every technical aspect. I blame yall! lol jk But it is commonplace now and i really dont understand why people make a big deal about it.
