Thought you might be interested in this modification to the Steadicam Smoothie ($149 @ Amazon w/Go Pro Mount). I took the idea from Cheesycam and made a couple of changes to make it balance better & reduce/eliminate the rotation problem. Added weights to the quick-release to better balance the side to side. Friend with a machine shop drilled & tapped the 1/4" hole to attach the lower bracket. By mounting the bracket on the bottom of the lower weight & bending the bracket, the weight is better aligned with the camera. Now to practice, practice, practice. [ yt ]8ABNN81cOLI[ /yt ]
