Moderators going to make a HMC40 Category?

It's still a bit early to have a sub-forum and no one really knows how many HMC-40s are going to be sold. However, having an HMC40 sub-forum under the main HMC150 forum would help to organize things.

For example:

HMC40/HMC150: (Notice name change for forum)
TECHNICAL - HMC150
WORKFLOW - HMC150
SCREEN GRABS / FOOTAGE - HMC150
HMC40 ISSUES

HMC40 in general, that might imply only 'issues' not screen grabs or questions... which all should go in there. I, as a big 150 user, am finding a large % of posts unrelated to the 150... :violin:
 
For now, there aren't a whole lot of HMC40 users out there yet, seeing as how the camera just came out. Much of the buzz is generated by people like myself who talk with other potential buyers and those who now have the camera.

Maybe the term, "HMC40 ISSUES" is a bit too vague, so for now having a sub-forum with "ALL HMC40 ONLY TOPICS" might help.

I see your point - but that just means its only going to get worse...

an 'ALL HMC40 TOPICS' sounds good... or better yet 'HMC40 - TOPICS / FOOTAGE'

It really should go outside the ~HMC150 category - the 7D got its own category...

I think a sub-forum for it would be great.
 
I like the idea of the sub forums. I think we should have a HMC main forum with HMC150 forums and HMC40 forums as sub forums of the main forum.
