C500: MkII is shipping.

I think the S35mm C700 does 4k @120fps.

You're right, it can send that to the codex recorder (which is what puts the c700 in a completely different league in terms of data rates) and those shots were definitely shot to the Codex. Back to the pessimistic "probably not much different than the C200" statement from before...although, maybe the CRL recording will add up to something. :-)

What CFExpress cards are you guys running? And what size? Do you prefer more smaller cards, or fewer bigger cards?

I'm going to start with two of the 512gb cards, as while I'll be playing with raw on some of my own projects, I imagine most client work will be xf-avc in 30p.

I believe Canon has only certified the Sandisk at this point. As to size, I'd guess it depends on whether you're shooting RAW or not. If you're sticking with XF-AVC and only shooting 24/30p, you might be able to get by with smaller cards.

I think someone mentioned that only the 512GB (and up) Sandisk CFExpress cards will support 6k raw from the C500ii. The speed drops a bit on the smaller cards. No issue for 10-bit recording, but something to look into if you're planning to shoot 6k.

I've tested a 256GB Sandisk card and it worked in RAW. It was only a short test - not that you can shoot RAW for long on 256GB card!
