Mixing screw on filter brands?

I recently bought tiffen and b+w screw on filters ranging from .3-1.8 and they have'nt shipped yet but I was wondering if I made a mistake. I have different levels between diff brands. (.6, .9, 1.2-tiffen/.3, 1.8-b+w) If I want to add say a .3 B+W to a 1.2 tiffen will that create any odd shifts or degradation in quality or are you suppose to keep brands separate?

I could be wrong but form experience there are color slight color shifts when using a ND's from different brands. Some brands are more magenta and some are more green. I'm only going by what I've seen. There are threads on this topic of color shifts. For example a lot of people have complained that the Hoya filters have a color shift.

Beware if you combine two different brands I've seen odd color shifts happen too.

I guess in theory the brand shouldn't matter if it was made quality wise. But that's a theory though. That's like saying a Zeiss lens and a Tamron are exactly the same lens as long as they are made quality wise exactly the same. Well yeah but chances are you can walk into a photo store and buy a Zeiss lens and you'll notice a better image almost all of the time.

So changes are if you buy a Tiffen your images will have less of a color shift than a Hoya.

Oh... when you said quality I just you meant quality built. Not excluding brands that are non pro. My bad, should have known that's what you meant.
