Mixing High-Def HV30 Footage With HVX200 Footage In Edit

I'm about to to do a shoot with a Canon HV30 and an HVX200. Client wants it shot in HD. Any advice for me heading into post? I've never worked with the Canon camera before or HDV for that matter. I'm used to P2 workflows with my Panasonic.

Use cinemode which may make it easier for you to match the video in the post since it is based on a Canon A1 preset. Finding information on how to match A1 and HVX200 should be easier then HV30. Also I would suggest you to convert both videos to same format before importing into same timeline. Cineform avi codec may be a good fit.
