Is it possible to mix the two in a single sequence? I need to do it for some varriable speed slowmo, but I am already commited to shooting 24pA for the realtime stuff.
Mixing 60i and 24pA?

Anyone got an answer? The shoot is tomorrow and I'd really like to know...
I am assuming you are shooting with the HVX200 what are you recording on a Firestore on p2? The answer is yes. When you shoot at 24pA the firestore or p2 card adds fielld so that when you shoot 24p it is actually recording 1080/60. Just make sure you are not recording on NATIVE. You will have to do a pulldown removal from 60 which may cause some problems. Tell me more about your project, hopefully i can help.

I'm shooting 24pA on the DVX. If I were using the HVX I wouldnt be asking

.I want to say that you should be fine editing 24pA in a 30i timeline, but I'm not positive on that. I know 24p is fine in a 30i timeline, and my understanding is that 24pA is a 30i stream anyway, so it should be fine. But this has always been the thing that makes my head spin. So don't go off my word alone.
