Hi All,

Its been a while, but I finally have something close to completion to show.

A brief history for those unfamiliar with the project, "Mitsabis Dream' is a short film based on the webcomic Angels2200 (www.angels2200.com). Its expanded horribly, as these things do, and is now looking at a final duration of around 45 mins.

Feel free to leave your thoughts and comments, I look forward to reading them happy

Great video! You got it spot on for everything - good cinematography, lighting, editing(although the initial fade to blacks got irritating after awhile), and thats some amazing VFX. Care to disclose the details on the project like budget, lighting package and set ups, behind the scenes and all?

Wow, this really does look excellent! There were a few points in which the acting seemed to feel a bit stiff, but it was revived quickly. And besides, everything else about the trailer makes you forget it a few lines were delivered poorly!

I keep wondering about production design, cgi, and your sound work. It definately looks like a hell of an achievement.

Thanks guys :)

The film was shot on a first generation DVX 100, with fairly simple lighting packages....one of the lights we made the most use of was the Kino flo Diva kit, because of its cheap cost and versitility. A large part of the budget came from overseas donations from readers of the comic.

As for CGI, Production design and the like, its mostly me and cardboard sets in my garage :)

Also, this project has been shot over three years, so the actors would be the first to admit that some performances are a little patchy at the beginning of filming. But they've all improved out of sight now! :)

Wow...That was Amazing.

What was total budget and who did the CGI and special effects?

I think that was the best trailer I have seen here so far.

budget was around $5000 all up....like I said, its really just a lot of polystyrene and plastic.

I've done pretty much all of the CGI so far, but I've got someone helping me out to finish off.
