Mistletoe - A cute Christmas short

That was fantastic. I watch a lot of short films on the nets and very few actually make me smile. This was very well done. Well shot, very well acted, well edited. Just all around very nice production. Only two things I really noticed: the elevator scene felt a bit awkward framing-wise. The difference in their height put her very low in the frame, which felt strange to me. And, the audio could have been louder. I had to turn up the volume pretty high to be able to hear it, and I felt like there could have been more ambient noise. In the office building maybe we could have heard the sound of muffled cars on the streets below? That kind of stuff.

Also, random aside, I LOVED the tree-shaped filter you put on the lens to make the blurry lights look like Christmas trees towards the end. That was a really fantastic touch. I've made filters like that myself out of cardboard, but only to create oval-shaped bokeh to simulate anamorphics. I'll be shooting a Christmas short next week (delayed til after Christmas, sadly), I may just steal that idea for mine :)

Again, really nice work. I'll be looking forward to more films from you.

That was great, it managed to keep me watching to the end which is far more then most internet shorts can say. The acting was good and I really like the cinemotography, it suited the tone perfectly.

Truly top notch in all aspects. Great acting, and writing and story. Good camera work. Audio was crisp and clean. Its hard to find a good internet short, and this was a gem.

Awesome! Thanks guys, I really appreciate all of your thoughts and feedback. This was a very rushed shoot, we wrote it and shot it in 7 days. On our website (www.finite-films.com) we take idea submissions from people that visit the site and then turn them in to movies...and we release one a month. So it's a very crazy, busy, exhausting project but it's been really fun so far. If you guys have time, check out the site—we've released 7 movies so far. And while you're there...feel free to submit an idea (or "constraint") :)
