I'll start by asking what infinity focus is. Besides the obvious, does it mean that if I set the focus dial on the lens to infinity, it really is focusing to infinity.
My experience with a Minolta AF adapter and a 50mm lens proved that the adapter I purchased was not very accurate. I would actually hit infinity focus before it reached the end on the dial.
Now with this MC/MD adapter, it is much closer to the end of the focus dial, but still not exact. What gives? Do I need to buy an ultra expensive adapter for it to be exact or are they all like this? I am currently using a Japanese model from Roxsen which I purchased on Ebay.
Just curious what others have experienced with these adapters or others.
