So im filming a friends wedding pretty soon and I'm not sure what I need exactly for a microphone. I know I need a laviler mic but idk much about. Like how does it go from the mic in the bride and groom wirelessly to my camera. I have a dvx100a. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You're going to need more than a mic. A mic on the groom and a mic on the preist/pastor/officiant at the very least. But you'll also need a way to record ambient sound (the room/crowd), plus any music and readings. One camera with two record channels won't suffice without a mixer. At least a second sound recorder, if not a second camera, will give you much more flexibility. You may be better off renting what you need rather than buying something that won't do you much good.
