FS7: Microphone Choices for FX9

Also planning on buying the fx9.. I will have a look at the new Rode NTG5.. all the reviews Ive read say its very good..

I just wrote my review of the NTG5, it's VERY good, especially for the money. That said, the NTG5 is for a boompole, there is no reason to use a mic that long on camera, it's going to get in the way once you
add proper wind protection. The AT-875r is still on my camera as it sounds great, actually has less handling noise than the NTG5 and is a lot shorter and I prefer wide angle FOV a lot of the time so I don't
need to always be scanning the edges of my monitor to see if the my Rycote furry for the 875r is slightly in frame.

Now have the AT875R and like it. What is the mount you are using? Looks very secure?
