Mic fell off...

Hey kids,
yesterday while shooting I pulled my camera out of my pack and the stock mic was uhh... just sorta... hanging there. After making a sexual comment about it, I started looking close at it and I see its just a rubber thingy that fits into a hole/port in the top handle *insert another sexual comment, please*. I'm wondering if theres anything I need to be aware of before jamming it back in.

Happened to me! Don't jam the mic back in, if the ribbon is still attached and not ripped all you have to do is simple unscrew the two screws on the side on the housing where the mic is. Slap the mic back in, and put the screws back on.
