Warning: Heavy metal and heavy compression...
Oh....my...
Today was a HUGE learning experience. Now I know it's worth working the graveyardshift to afford all this gear.
I got the A1, my first camcorder, a couple of months ago. Have done about 20 hours of shooting and 10 hours of editing...ever. Today Metallica were in town and I decided I wanted to do a "live performance single camera music video marathon". I just finished rendering after 14 hours of "work".

It's no work of art - but it feels good to have done something that might resemble a real project. So many lessons learned - that includes monitoring audio levels, no reason to point it out
Just wanted to share the experince.
Comments/critique/bashing welcome.
