It will up the maximum weight limit to 7.5 lbs.
Until then, getting a smaller size battery will allow you to balance it with no problem.

i cant seem to find pricing for the metal gimbal upgrade alone. all i can find is it WITH the arm, vest, etc...
i wonder if the metal gimbal has a more robust grip on it? i think that the stock grip feels really small and cheap - and considering the price i think its kinda odd that its the same grip as the old steadicam jr...
