Does anyone know if there is a way to include f-stop, focal length and other technical data into the metadata? Maybe it already does and I am not seeing it but any help would be greatly aprechiated.

Nope, it's not there, and probably never will be. Both the aperture and focal length can change throughout the clip, and the metadata is per-clip information.
