metadata - clip name

I write a SD card with tha shooting data, clip name, etc...

Loaded in the camera but me mxf files are:

001vu
002vr
003mc
004o7

etc

Is there a way to get naming like:

house01
house02
house03

or a way to rename later on ?

I recorded with 2 P2 and both card have clips starting with 003, 004 etc, when importing in finalcut clips are mixed in the bin.

The file names on the card are going to be the 0001RG.MXF types. But the user clip name will be more like the "house01" type. If your editor supports the User Clip Name field (most do, only FCP doesn't) then you can just tell your editor to display the files by user clip name. Check out the article in the articles section on P2 naming, it might explain things better.
