Just arrived and it is wonderful! Modified my EFS 17-55mm to fit (removed back plastic piece) and it works great - IS and everything! Tested on GH4.
 
That's great news (mine is on its way) - much involved in removing the plastic part?

No, remove 6 screws on back of lens (4 on metal, 2 holding electronic contacts). Then the plastic shroud just snaps off (clips holding it in place). I can post pix if necessary.
 
I got the same. Paypal sent the shipping info with tracking number. Mine is in the US but looks look like I wont get it until next week.

I failed to see in the description that auto focus isn't supported but it does respond with magnification when you start focusing the lens. Thats pretty cool!
 
Ordered mine also but it hasn't shipped yet.

I did get a couple of missed calls from a private number - just wondering if anyone else got those prior to it shipping?

Nothing from PayPal to say it's shipped, although the money has been taken from my account.

are most EFS the same. I desparately need to mod my 10-22mm but the mod I found show'd lots of gluing and advanced plastic/epoxy hybrid and sanding which didn't seem worth it. TO ME it looks like just remove that plastic thing on the back like you said
 
Mine arrived at my office yesterday, but I had to shoot early and then head out to a camping trip, so I won't get my hands on it til Monday. Glad I bit the bullet and placed the order since they sold out so quickly...
 
An update on my post the other day - it just arrived! The first notice I got that it had shipped was when it was already here in Japan, so if you haven't received shipping notification yet , don't despair, as it's more than likely that Metabones is just catching up on messaging everyone who ordered with their tracking numbers.

Same here.

Got a notification last night & when I checked the FedEx tracking number it shows the package is already at the sort facility in Los Angeles.
