I'm trying to figure out how is it possible my speed booster purchased for my panasonic gx 7 fits perfectly to my BMPCC. I'm baffled and excited at the same time because I was told it's not supposed to work. I placed it on by accident while testing and comparing both cams today. I was using it with my new sigma 18 to 35 and while calling myself putting it back on to the gx7 was in actuality placing it on the BMPCC. I looked at the view finder and there it was a perfectly bright, wider and sharp image. I know it's not as wide as the BMPCC native speed booster, but this will keep me from buying it since this one works across both.
Can someone please tell me if I'm missing something here and are their any other cons to using the regular micro 4/3 speed booster, besides the wider field of view I'll gain by having the native bmpcc speed booster?
