merging two DV clips.

shot a wedding couple days ago, i have an issue with the formats.

I shot with a Canon A1 and a Panasonic dvx30. Both cameras were at 16:9. Canon was 60i and panasonic was 30p. I noticed during editing that the Canon was dv 1.2 and pan. was dv 0.9.

Is there a way i can fix this problem? the canon video full screen 16:9 and the pan. is 16:9 with bars on top and bottom. how do i join this two clips to appear the same?

If you want them both to appear full screen, you need to zoom into the Canon clip and crop the sides off. So, basically, the top and bottom of the 4:3 image would be the same top and bottom of the 16:9 image, but the left and right would be cut off.

but zooming in will destroy the quality of the image would it not? what about letterbox both?
