Menu button, VCR mode button broken...

Yea, I'll take a gamble. I'm just hoping it's something easy. I already ordered 2 of the ribbon cables from Panasonic last week. Guess what, one is back ordered. Looks like a good place to start. Cables are cheap, about 20 bucks each. I'll take it apart and reseat the connectors while I'm waiting. If it fixes it, I'll replace the cables when they come in. Sure looks easy to work on, I like what DJDekay said. There is no force required to dismantle if all the proper screws are out. Sounds really well built. So many things today have hidden tabs and such that you end up destroying it while trying to take it apart, not like this unit. Wish me luck!
